Posture and Deportment by Mehar Bhasin (Revlon super model)

The Revlon supermodel and former Miss India finalist, Mehar Bhasin taught the Miss Bhutan contestants on various aspects of beauty pageant which included make-up, dressing, communication, photo posing and ramp walks etc.

Communication and Speaking Skill by Poonam Batra

With clear melodious voice, audible even without the mike, Poonam Batra spoke on the art of verbal communication. Her class included verbal poise, public speaking and confidence building. She laid more emphasis on using words effectively in imparting information or opinions spiced with sense of humor.

Driglam Namzha – National Etiquette
by Lopen Jigme Yoyzer (Head of Driglam Namzha) and Toeb Tshering (Trainer) on 29th August.

Driglam Namzha symbolizes Bhutan’s unique identity. Preservation and promotion of our culture and tradition is some of Miss Bhutan Organization’s area of immense interest and importance.  The session was organized to keep alive the tradition and culture of our country.  Our national identity is our unique culture and tradition which we must preserve and promote because if our National Indentity is lost, everything is lost.

Yoga & Meditation by Dr. Joannes Meixner

A yoga and meditation which belong to holistic development, was taught to the contestants for their own personal development by Dr. Joannes Meixner, a pediatrics surgeon at JDWNR Hospital and a Yoga teacher. It was taught to develop a clear mind and good body which is a basic premise in gaining self-confidence and required energy to meet on life’s challenges.
