Being part of a competition isn’t as easy as most people make it to be. I believe that a pageant is no different from such challenges, and although most think it’s a superficial platform, joining this has taught me so much. It has pushed me to identify my strengths, weaknesses and given me a reason to identify a goal for myself. Each moment I’m made to confront what I need to work on and the qualities that I’m very proud of. I commend myself for having realized what’s important in my life and realize what I can do to encourage our female counterpart in our society.

Everyone is born unique with their own ability to create happiness. Happiness can be achieved if we follow our dreams with our heart. People say that our dreams are like stars, we can only look at it but cannot touch it. This competition has been the perfect outlet for me to showcase my capabilities and that I can do something different. Winning the title will allow me to prove to everyone that I can make a difference.

I should be the next Miss Bhutan because I have what it takes to be this year’s winner. I am aware of the responsibilities that come with the crown and I’m confident of handling these responsibilities well. Holding this title allows me to be a role model for young girls, and I believe that I can work hard towards encouraging young girls to go for their dreams.

I strongly believe that I should be the next Miss Bhutan because I’m really determined in whatever I do. I believe that God can only help if you are willing to help yourself. I believe in pushing myself to do something different and make me stand out as a winner.

Why I should be the next Miss Bhutan?
When I was a little girl, there was this one moment which changed my life. My father was watching TV and I asked him, “What are you watching” “Miss World Pageant” said my father. I asked him what it was about and he told me that it was a competition among beautiful women in the world also based on talent, intelligence, personality and confidence. Ever since then I’ve been inspired to be one of the many on that stage. It is that one dream I have now and that is to win the crown and achieve that opportunity to show the world what I’m made of. This is why I should be the next pageant winner.

Why I should be the next Miss Bhutan?
A lot of people have told me that I can’t win this competition and that I don’t have what it takes to be Miss Bhutan. But I have continued to stand my ground and still be a part of this pageant because I believe in at least trying out and giving my best shot. The most challenging part during the past few days has been in staying focused and being positive. Due to the discouragement I have become stronger and more confident. I believe that I have what it takes to do well in this pageant like poise, confidence, belief but most important of all, a good heart.

Why I should be the next Miss Bhutan?
I believe in beauty for a cause. By becoming Miss Bhutan, I can do quite a lot to make a difference in the lives of many people in our country through social service. I am very much interested in creating awareness on social issues like substance abuse, domestic violence, HIV Aids and many more. I should be the next Miss Bhutan to be the ambassador of love and compassion for my people as well as for the rest of the world.

Why I should be the next Miss Bhutan?
Most girls don’t realize it yet, but this pageant is an opportunity of a life time. It allows us to realize our potentials and goals. I have an open heart to understand other people’s situations and I am adamant about contributing to our country GNH by helping other people in my own little ways. My immediate field of interest in helping young children get educational opportunities.

I am a very religious person. I am also very emotional and very empathetic. I have great interest in doing social work and doing the best that I can to lessen social problems in our country. I speak my mind and do not make promises that I cannot live up to. I cannot make any promises at the moment but if I do win this competition, I make this promise to do my very best and live up to whatever is expected of the one who wins the crown.
