Miss Bhutan 2008 joined the rest of the delegates from 80 countries in Manila. She first underwent the official photo shoot and attended a cocktail dinner. Wednesday, Oct 22 she and her group flew out to Coron, Palawan, one of the tourism wonders of Philippines for a three day trip and back on 24th to Laguna a province down south of Manila, for more environmental activities.

The other major event was the press presentation on Oct 28 where the official delegates were present at the Traders Hotel, Manila, followed by national costume competition at night in PAGCOR theater.

Miss Earth 2008 took place on the 9th of November 2008 at the CLARK EXPO AMPHITHEATER, PANPAMGA and was aired over ABS CBN Channel 2 where more than 80 delegates from across the globe contested for the most conveted title.

The director of Miss Bhutan Pageant, Karma Tshering along with Bhutan’s popular singer/actor, Rinchen Namgay and Tsokye Tsomo’s sister, Euthra Karchung were also present in their colourful traditional Bhutanese attires at the Grand Finale.
