MPC bhutan entertainment
After directing Bhutan’s first commercial and block buster movie “Jigdrel”, followed by “Rangdol & Yangdon” for Norling Drayang and block buster movie “Chepai Bu” for Pekhang Audiovisuals, Bhutanese film director Karma Tshering has established his own film production company called as MPC bhutan entertainment (MPC) in 2000. Numerous documentary films, feature films and commercial advertisements were produced under this banner.
In 2008, MPC has founded Bhutan’s first beauty pageant, “Miss Bhutan Pageant”, an initiative to provide a forum for young Bhutanese women to display their skills and talents, and to advance their careers. To address issues relating to women and children, MPC has founded Bhutan’s first women’s magazine “Yeewong” the following year.
